EpicCentral
Hart’s vision for a destination entertainment district came to fruition in EpicCentral, a 172-acre Grand Prairie entertainment district located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex off State Highway 161 just north of Interstate 20. EpicCentral combines various restaurants, fitness, pickleball, an indoor waterpark, lawn space, an entertainment stage, an iconic water and light show, hotels and convention center, a huge all access playground, dog park and private sector entertainment venues.
Illuvia Water, Light and Projection Show
Illuvia Water, Light and Projection Show, 2961 S. Highway 161. EpicCentral’s spectacular new Vegas-style water and light show is a sight – and sound – to behold. The first show of its kind in North America, phantasmagorical fountains leap 60 feet in the air, dancing to music. Shimmering images appear like magic across sheets of illuminated water in this must-see fluid affair.
Animated, Interactive Digital Experience
Coming soon to Grand Prairie’s EpicCentral, an on-land animated, interactive digital experience will create yet another layer of wonder at this wow-worthy experience.
GrandLawn
EpicCentral’s GrandLawn is an expansive green space that provides ample room for picnics and free play as well as outdoor concerts, movies on the lawn and special events. Bordering a lake with a water fountain and shimmering metal tree, the GrandLawn offers breathtaking views for walkers and joggers on the paved trails. The gradual slope in the lawn provides natural seating for thousands of people. A special design concrete pad accommodates the city’s large, portable concert stage.
JamBox
JamBox is an outdoor music venue at EpicCentral and promises a fun, musical experience for everyone, just steps away from vibrant dining options and the spectacular new Vegas-style water and light show, Illuvia. The open-air stage is sheltered from the weather, complete with lights and sound.
